Homeless Youth Services

This program supports those who meet the official Massachusetts definition of unaccompanied homeless youth: a person 24 years of age or younger who is not in the physical custody of a parent or legal guardian, and who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence. This includes those experiencing any form of homelessness—whether staying in shelters, outdoors, unsafe settings, or couch surfing—as well as youth at risk of losing housing.

Residential Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT)

This Massachusetts program provides short-term emergency funding ($7000 per 12-month period) to help families confronted with eviction, foreclosure, loss of utilities, and other housing emergencies. The funds can be used for rent, utilities, moving costs, or mortgage payments.
